What is the Fund?

The Catalyst fund aims to invest in projects that will help to deliver economic growth to the Liverpool City Region, upgrading the housing offer, regenerating deprived communities and maximising the use of new spaces in the city.

How much funding is available?
The Fund typically looks for projects with a capital requirement of £5-£30m. However, we will consider opportunities outside of this range if they meet the investment criteria of the fund.
What form of funding is available?

Any stage of the development cycle – bridge, pre-planning or consented schemes. The Fund can also make equity investments, or form partnerships with local businesses and enterprises.

What types of projects can the fund invest in?

All projects within the commercial and residential sectors, infrastructure and green energy space that meet the fund’s investment criteria.

What interest rates are charged?

The Fund charges reasonable market-derived rates.

Are energy efficiency, energy generation and distribution projects eligible?
