Sponsors/partners with a strong track record and experience.
Any stage of the development cycle – bridge, pre-planning or consented schemes.
Investments of £5m+ made on clear commercial terms.

The Catalyst Fund

The Catalyst Fund was established in 2016 to meet Merseyside Pension Fund’s criteria of investing in projects to help deliver economic growth to the Liverpool City Region. This includes upgrading the housing offer, regenerating deprived communities and maximising the use of new spaces in the city.

Merseyside Pension Fund

Merseyside Pension Fund (MPF) is one of the largest Local Government Pension Schemes in the UK, managing the pensions of over 150,000 members. Within its investment allocation, MPF invests into real estate and alternative asset classes across the UK and has specific allocated capital for the Liverpool City Region – known as the Catalyst Fund. As part of the Northern Pool MPF further enhances its investment scale and efficiency through its collaborative partnership with Greater Manchester and West Yorkshire pension funds.
