Mersey Heat, Liverpool Docks

Low Carbon Energy Infrastructure — This investment has supported Peel and Enervate deliver 4,200 tonnes of CO² saving from the construction of water source heat pump energy centre, pipework and associated infrastructure at Liverpool docks that will connect into new commercial buildings and thousands of new homes. The project is at the forefront of low carbon infrastructure which is strategically important both locally and nationally having been referenced in the 2024 Autumn budget announcement by the Chancellor of the Exchequer.
