Royal Albert Docks, Liverpool

The loan supported the acquisition and capital expenditure at the Royal Albert Docks. The capital expenditure MPF are lending is for a variety of purposes including redeveloping and fitting out office space that will help create jobs and fitting out vacant leisure/retail space to re-let. This will drive footfall and grow the local economy. The Royal Albert Docks more widely contributes to a number of social initiatives including education and apprenticeships and has importance for the local economy, hosting a number of events including the festival of lights and Eurovision.
